Old style coffee mill

When I was a kid, this was the ordinary type coffee mill for the kitchen. You got coarse ground coffee from it. Sometimes I helped with the grinding. The crank was rather heavy to turn. The usual kind of coffee was light roasted, strong in caffeine but weak in taste. It was not brewed, but boiled in a kettle. And most people added cream to it, making the taste even weaker.
