Waiting Room

Well, it would seem, according to kaybee, that , for three days, I've been visiting an empty building, apart from a solitary cleaner. Well, I only took 3 shots today and particularly wanted this (empty) waiting area in my journal. If been doing structural shots in mono but the Hexham General Hospital is really such a colourful, cheerful place.

I just love the harlequin décor but, unfortunately, the matching faded, much washed bed covers and curtains cannot be replaced.

The Man was discharged today and was really looking forward to coming home. I was a bit worried about how he would manage getting in and out of the car but it was no problem.

I had put things in the slow cooker for an easy meal tonight, I was ready to relax after all the driving. I was ready to pour a drink.

Relax? No! I went through the hall and hear a strange noise. I looked in the airing cupboard and the water pump controlling our hot water and central heating was making an awful noise and spurting water everywhere. I got soaked. The Man came hobbling to help, his hip hurt. We turned off stop taps, now all we can do is wait for morning to phone a plumber.

The Man might wish he hadn't come home!
