Cork by night

This is the River Lee and this is about the upper limit of its tidal range.
A couple of days ago the combination of heavy rain, high winds and spring tides caused the river to go shopping down the main street of the City.
Students paddled kayaks along the street and someone went swimming in a particularly deep part.
All gone today and the clean up has been carried out extremely quickly.
