Traumatic Couple of Days

We were broke into last night at 6.30pm while we were sat in the living room.All the vehicle keys were taken and our car stolen.Police until late last night and sorting out new keys and keys re-chipped,insurance etc all day.On top of this we have also had the VAT to do,no grace here if it is late just massive fines.Believe me when I say never ever work for yourself in the UK.A little backward looking country that hates the word profit and business which are the only things that provide what we all want and the tax that pays for it.
No sleep last night and Helen very upset.Still the justice system will make sure the criminals rights will be fully represented while the victims of crime will be completely forgotten.Do I sound bitter?Probably.Am I right?Probably.
Positive news though this evening.Our car has been found and we may have it returned in a couple of days after forensics.Victim support rang me.Hope they recorded that conversation for training purposes.
Dealing with Mercedes for new van keys has been the best of all that I have had to deal with today.Just fantastic service from the staff in Liverpool who suggested I should leave the vehicle in their secure compound over the weekend just in case the thieves came back with the key.

I will back blip over the weekend and catch up with comments and chat.Looking forward to catching up with everyone's blips.

Need to call down to the Police station and thank them.I could not do their job of dealing with scum on a daily basis.I think it was Alan Clark MP who said that we face a rising tide of scum in this country.I think he is being proved correct.
