Well That Something Depends on You...

The Six Nations started last week.

In 1987 the Six Nations were Four.

Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales.

Unlike Football, the Rugby crowd is very good natured. The city would fill up, the bars would be heaving, but it was all good natured banter and laughing.

If you didn't have a ticket, you found a bar. Every bar had a screen or a big tv You got a pint. You wound up the fans of the opposite team, you laughed, you shouted at the TV. You had some more pints. You shouted at the TV a bit more. The game finished, We all cheered.

Food featured highly too, only because in our drunken stupors we felt it necessary to feed the munchies....

One such night we partook of a Chinese meal. Lovely it was too, and demolished in super quick time. Then we headed back out to Rose Street to continue the celebrations.

As was often the case, too much lager, and too much chinese, and too much singing meant for an up set tum. Quick visit to the look, quick vomit and the Sweet and Sour Balls came up exactly as they went down.

Dearie me.
