On the huh

In the old part of Norwich, the Tombland area, are several buildings which are, as we say in Norfolk, on the huh.

This archway leads from Tombland Alley to Tombland. Across the road is the Erpingham Gate and in the far distance the west door of Norwich Cathedral.
