The week is finally over, and now it's time to embark on the weekend!

Severe weather warnings are once again in place so it looks like it's going to be another wet one

You'll be pleased to hear that today has been a lot better than yesterday - at least I didn't put any more dents in hubbies pride and joy car today so that is a great relief

The above photo is me playing around with that macro lens again - I do hope I'm not boring you too much with these shots. I think I need to start playing around with merging images so that I can get more of the flower in focus.

I'm still finding it a bit of a mystery how people capture these tiny insects with such detail - this wasn't the largest flower in the world but it was a darn sight bigger than an insect and I still struggled with the focus

There is so much to learn in photography, I think many people probably don't realise how technical it can be - but I'm hoping that with the practice I'm getting from the need to blip my skill can only improve
