I've uploaded this one on my father's laptop which I'm not feeling at ease with. Hope the image is good. Strangely enough, it reminds me of a song my Mum used to love, "Le chant des partisans" which Yves Montand sang beautifully. It's a song about the french resistance.

The first verse in french: 'Ami, entends- tu le vol noir des corbeaux sur nos plaines?'.

Dad's doing well, roughly. Things are being sorted out gradually. It's not the best holiday I've spent in my whole life but things had to be done and I have to thank you all for your kind thoughts and words. You're the more supportive bunch I've ever known!
