Ice and the Moon

The light made the branches of our Californian Redwoods look like they are made of glass.
Plus the sky was so piercingly bright that I used a ND 2 filter ( I prefer the ND series to polarizers even though they are not as flexible )
We were told it was impossible to grow these Redwoods in New Jersey. Twenty years later and 30 feet taller they are still there !!
