A river runs through it

Well, the river here in Risca is pretty high, but we are very lucky compared with other areas of the country, as the river here hasn't flooded since the 80's when fortunately for us, the Council built the sides of the river up really high.
However this is the highest I have seen it and with more rain forecast in the coming days I am sure it will rise higher still.
