Crossing the Ford

Kenilworth Castle Ford has a long history of flooding under sustained rain fall and there are usually no shortage of 4x4's who like to go through, most of whom drive very well with reasonable technique (I'll admit to a bit of bias here as I work at Land Rover and hold a BORDA off road driving certificate.) There are however also quite a few idiots daring individuals whom despite the road closed signs decided to have a go through. This Rover managed it, just! Lots of steam coming off the engine and probably very nearly flooded the air intake.

Still the sun was nice today and some blue sky, amazing how everyone seemed a little cheerier.
