Ducks in trendy boots, Manchester...
This winter, so far, hasn't been that cold, little frost and no snow at all so far. It has, however been mild and wild. Huge storms blowing in from the Atlantic bringing high winds and prodigious amounts of rain. The south west has been battered this week with part of the important London to Penzance rail route falling into the sea. And the Somerset Levels have been flooded since before Christmas. Perfect weather for ducks! But even ducks have found it difficult. So here are some on King Street in beautifully painted boots. Actually I'm cheating a bit as these ducks were here last August as part of the successful Dig The City urban garden festival. I was part of it. It's going to be on again this Summer and is stirring again after it's winter break...
