Chook

Thought I would try the Camera on my tablet and upload via the app for the first time! This Chook wobbles like she's pecking the ground and I'm rather fond of her ♡

In other news Flooding has caused major road problems here today with main roads being closed. A good friend of mine has narrowly escaped her house being flooded but more rain due in later is giving her great cause for concern. I tried to get Mum to her annual diabetic eye check up today but despite having set off early we were still several miles away from the hospital at her appointment time. We made a call to the hospital who were very understanding and have given her a new date. So as we were near the garden centre we pulled in for a cuppa and a mooch and then made our way home, sun is out now but not for long.

We are still so much more fortunate than many but I have never seen flooding on this scale around here before, our little babbling brook is as high a the top of the culvert under the railway and I estimate that must be a rise of at least 3ft...
