BAKING HEAT

The hot sun is reflected in the shallow dam water.
We are draining the dam so that the cracks can be plastered over. I noticed that lately our garden irrigation furrows always seemed to have water in them. Yesterday we noticed that the branches of the largest olive tree were leaning out.
Too much water!
Like blood hounds we followed the furrow back to source and found a leak near the outlet pipe.
This winter we will have to do some severe pruning and re landscaping. Hopefully we will not lose the tree.
