Our Canal Our Future

That is what is painted on the mural - "Our Canal Our Future". Seemed rather sad to me.
A wander along the canal provides beautiful reflections but more often the reflection is of rubbish, or in this case a lovely mural, faded and with a bit of old, discarded railing.
Still, nice way to pass a little time while waiting for 2 new tyres to be fitted on my car. Can't go off on adventures with bald tyres can I?
