On the West Coast

Having all sorts of problems trying to get on the internet, so this is a wee bit late!

The weather was wonderful on the West Coast today, and the views out to sea were spectacular.

This photo was taken at Bruce Bay, on the way to Fox Glacier. The beach is absolutely covered with driftwood, so I had to find a piece to take home, of course.
We didn’t get to Fox Glacier until after 5pm, so decided to stay there for the night. The only accommodation we could find was a room with an incredibly small bathroom, and no internet. All this for $100 - welcome to the tourist trap!

There were Keas ( a native NZ parrot) flying around outside where we were staying, it was amazing.
