At home: A bread and cheese picnic....x

Bread, apple and cheese.

Such a simple combination, but when done right, its a good one. It can go so very wrong. The three, by nature have to compliment each other. Its a more delicate balance than you imagine, actually. Or rather its, most likely to lend itself to experimentation of the three. You see an apple of a piquant variety, might lend itself to a sweeter bread. Then the challenge is, where does the cheese fit between these tastes. Compliment or confuse?

There are many simple things that we make over complicated. Bread is one of them. This Artisan bread, made my Hedonist Bakery is bought frozen. I smiled at this concept when I first saw it, because I am one of the many people who bundles bread into my trolley, only to load up freezer at home. The crazy part of this deal is that, actually I most likely buy bread that is already preserved so I am by freezing it, doubly preserving it!.

By buying ready frozen bread, like this one. It is made from real and fresh ingredients. Not a confusing ingredient in sight, and frozen ready to be warmed in your oven at home. Makes perfect sense. Like bread, apple and cheese......x
