Warm Colors of Winter

Day #6 of no school. Thankfully, we're going back to school tomorrow - on a Friday!
Curiouscalvin and I took a short ride to a trail close by while running a couple errands.
We've had so many fallen trees that affected many families and businesses with power loss. We wondered if we would see any on our walk.
Walking through thick icy snow gave me a work out. Not far from where we were, the entire path was blocked by three big trees that fell. The power of Mother Nature was displayed in uprooted trees and big broken trunks and branches.
We managed to maneuver our way out of the tree debris and found peace here where I took this shot. The stream gently flowed and the sun made this cold, drabby winter so warm. You can see the icicles while feeling warm from the sunlight.
The walk and the walk back was cold, but it was another great walk with my love!
