Ross Fountain
Cast in iron at Durenne near Paris, France. The figures were sculpted by Jean-Baptiste Jules Klagmann.
It was a feature of the Great Exhibition in London in 1862. Bought by gun maker Daniel Ross for the City of Edinburgh after the Great Exhibition in 1869, and erected in 1872 in the West Prices Street Gardens in 1872.
A smaller version of the fountain exists in Pelotas in Brazil.
