Low Key
Day 6 of the Techniques challenge.
Night time photography is "low-key" by definition, but I'm not sure this shot qualifies as a good example - it's usually applied to portrature or still life. However, I only had a little time available tonight and the dog needed a walk, so I popped up to Clackmannan Tower, gave it a light wash with my Lenser and let the distant lights of Falkirk and Alloa do the rest. I had wanted a starry sky, but glad the clouds were there in the end - they give a really cool effect.
