The Ravens song

Back soon as having trouble up loading so picture first writing later.
Been trying for the last 2 hours to load this picture and hurray at last it went through.
A wonderful start to the day so set off early but after we had bought lunch and been to B and Q it had started to cloud over s bit. We drove along the road to Redcastle and was shocked to see that building work had started at the end of the houses near North Kessock. Did nt realise that the houses were coming that far down.
As we drove further on we spotted a flock of curlew in the field but as we stopped to try and take a photo up they went and out of sight.
We stopped at the parking spaces to eat our lunch. The tide was out but the sun was lighting up the trickles of water that had been left behind.

David wanted to take some pictures of Red Kites for a project at college so we headed for the Red Kite feeding Centre at Tollie. We past a tractor ploughing on the way followed by hundreds of gulls and 4 red kites but there was no where to stop.
The food has just been put out when we arrived and we waited patiently. One Kite was in a tree nearby. Several buzzards flew by and landed in the trees but none flew down to the table.
David was lucky enough to go into 'the lions den' with the RSPB Officer to put out more food to encourage them down but no luck. Think they were full of worms.
There were plenty of finches and tits on the feeders and a flock of 9 Yellow hammers in a tree.
Ravens are often seen there picking up the scrapes and on the way home we past this field with hundreds of ravens flying into the trees to roost.
Rather like this song
