Breakfast Malfunction

I quite often like to cook and egg in the microwave for breakfast in this little cooker I got from the egg marketing board. It takes 50 seconds. Sometimes the egg blows up in the microwave even though I pierce the yolk. This morning the egg blew up in my face! No injuries though, I was faster and breakfast was 'egg-cellent'!
