Sleeping Beauty

Blue woke me in the early hours miaowing to be let out. So I got up, let him out and passing by Rowan's room was struck how beautiful she looked lying asleep. I stood quietly for some time just watching and thinking. It was a lovely intimate moment and I almost thought better of sharing it. Except I want to remember it and how it made me feel so that when our home is empty of children I will come across this image and smile to myself.
