Sad Times...

I took this shot of my desk this morning as I am the first one in to work in the morning and the office is very quiet, a cup of coffee then ready for work.

At 10am some colleagues were told their jobs are at risk and there will be redundancies, 8 friends & workmates are affected as well as up to 30 more across the full company. It is one of the largest employers in the area employing hundreds of people so may seem like a small percentage but its still a shock when it hits your own department.

Fortunately my position is safe, and I have spent the morning cuddling and consoling some of the young girls who I have worked with for 10+ years from when they started at age 16. I am their *work mum*
