Had a fantastic evening! We bought a voucher for Lab22 in Cardiff a few months back, having heard good things about it. The voucher was for a 7 course tasting menu, so 7 different cocktails with something to accompany them.

We had a elderflowe & gin cocktail to begin with, served with a beetroot & cucumber salad. Then a lychee & rose liquer cocktail served in a conical flask with lychee pearls which reminded me of the bath pearls Mam used to have years ago! They popped in your mouth, with the skin... bath pearls! Very tasty though. Then things get a bit hazy!

Had a really nice glass of champage with this bell jar filled with mandarin smoke and some parma ham slices. A cocktail made with vodka and Liquer 43 served with an ice cream biscuit. A strawberries & cream drink with passionfruit flavoured dry smoke, served with strawberries & a pot of melted chocolate. A brandy cocktail with some chocolate coated honeycomb pieces & a final 'white lady' cocktail topped with a meringue like foam which tasted like refresher sweets. That was served with some Christmas flavoured cheese and some cranberry pearls.

Very nice evening :) We ordered another round of drinks after & got a pizza on the way home as we were quite tipsy!!
