Raft Spider (Dolomedes fimbriatus)

Cleaning the pond out today, discover the pond liner had holes in it, so as I removed the liner, this guy scuttled out of its hiding place. Raft Spider (Dolomedes fimbriatus) don't know who jumped the furtherest, me or my mother in law. Anyway it wasn't harmed and I only delayed it to get a photograph and it is now roaming free somewhere near the pond as before. This one was only a juvenile as I have seen bigger versions in the past. Approx size 5cm in diameter.
