Science Literacy and Cultural Diversity

Today was largely spent working on my presentation and summary of an article on science literacy and cultural diversity. I enjoyed this article a lot, as it was different than some of the other education articles I've had to read. It used a narrative of a young girl in science class and further explored her engagement and science identity through the scope of science literacy and cultural diversity after she makes a mistake in chemistry class. It shows the consequences of mistakes and how they can either make or break a student's scientific identity. Neat stuff.

Oh! Tomorrow is my birthday! I'm so excited!
