Cascais.

After a half day at the conference we were designated the afternoon off for a little bit of sightseeing. Even scientists should be cultured in other respects.

After a quick change and a little gander into town Rosey and I took a 20 minute train from downtown Lisbon to the lovely fishing village Cascais. We spent the afternoon doing a little sunbathing, having a really quick dip in the sea, a few beers and some lovely food.

We headed back into town to meet up with everyone else for a lovely evening meal and a few cocktails. Who knew conferences were actually this much fun?
