The Old Deer Park

Perhaps should be renamed the old deer lake. The whole of the lower half is under water.

Ran in howling wind and rain today but the main problem is still the calf. I've managed to up the distance to 8k but it's still not right and was glad to stop. Unlikely I'll be able to do the Brighton half next week.

Despite the tube strike we managed to get to barbican for a meal at chiswell street dining room and concert. The LSO performing Panufnik sinfona sacra - which was great if a little bonkers- He lived in Twickenham after he escaped Poland. And also Dvorak new world symphony and violin concerto with Michael Francis conducting and Anne-Sophie mutter soloist. All very good.
