The Storm

So the storm hit the south west of England with a vengeance this morning. I planned my journey to work (5 mins in the car) avoiding the lanes with big trees. The driveway down to the House is a tree-lined avenue which I avoided by coming through the farmyard. The top picture is taken from a road high above the town of Lyme Regis looking across the Bay to Golden Cap (invisible today), usually from that distance any "white horses" look nothing more than white specks but this morning they were huge. The second picture taken from our office is as the storm had stilled, the rain had ceased and a little ray of sunshine and blue sky appeared.
