Mistle Thrush

In an area I call the green which is very close to where I live I spotted lots of redwings and the plan was to zoom in and capture one of them but then I saw the thrush. I'm never sure if I have captured a mistle thrush or a song thrush until I compare the photos to the books later . Would have been nice for it to have been a song thrush as I haven't seen one for ages and ages. This was taken from the comfort of the car as this afternoons weather has been awful and I was definitely was not going out in it but on watching the news tonight my heart definitely goes out to the people suffering from the Atlantic storms and Somerset floods.
