Think & Shoot & Think

It was the movie screening day for the crew and most people were present. Great atmosphere, everyone was chirpy. The film rolled and there was an empty seat next to me. I wasn't expecting anyone to occupy that seat, neither was I expecting you. Only her. And then in came two easily-recognized silhouettes. But, one of it reeked of extra familiarity. I lost track of the story for a bit, between excitedly waving hi to her and handling the fact you appeared as well. Damn.

Before you even notice the booby trap, the next thing you know you have already fallen flat on the cold hard ground. Groaning in pain. That's why being emotionally detached was a great skill I took a while to master. Honestly, it's quite hard for me to go back to what it was. I can no longer live by the rule of normality. It's too late because you'll only realize it after stepping out of that zone. Few would truly understand.

Tonight, I'm pretty sure I don't have the heart to hurt you. You're so perfect, you're perfect for him. He may not deserve you but one thing for sure, he's yours. I will never be like you. I will never be normal. I'll be damned. I'll live with all the hauntings till I'm done here.
