Lara Djonggrang

Tonight we ate at an excellent restaurant in my neighborhood - Lara Djonggrang, which serves traditional Indonesian fare in the most exquisite building. It's a series of rooms, each decorated with unique furniture, shadow puppets, paintings, sculpture, reclaimed beams, and antiques. Our lovely server, Melia gave us a tour, wandering through the back rooms and explaining the history of the items. It was a wonderful place, with delicious food and good company.
