February garden

As I was ironing this morning I realised that it was getting darker and darker. Not having walked this morning I realised I hadn't taken any photos so I dashed out for some garden shots before the deluge started.

I went back to the lovely early crocus still speckled with rain drops but I also noticed the Hellebore flowering by the dustbin. Popped back in for my macro ring and got this shot of the pretty Hellebores Orientalis. Ridiculously difficult to photograph as the heads always hang down, so I was quite pleased with this.

Back to the ironing and down came the torrential rain! Still nothing as bad as they are having in the south west. Dreadful. Hope you are all safe and dry.

The weather forecast this lunchtime was for 3 inches of rain in this area over the next few days, thank goodness we don't have high tides to deal with too.
