My parents came with me to an open evening about teacher training routes. I had thought it would be an informal event with information and tutors who you could have a chat with, but it turned out to be a formal q & a session. Which was fine once I plucked up the courage to ask a question. The majority of questions were about PGCE courses ( not what I want to do)
The upshot is, whatever teacher training route I take, I will need to have a degree first. This all hangs on whether I qualify for a grant, loan or bursary!!!

It's never an easy path.
