Isn't She Lovely!

What I learned from mom:

All things in moderation.

Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you (Yep, she reads the Bible)

You're special.

Short hand for "I love you" looks like a cute little face. (ask your grandmother if she took shorthand, maybe she'll show you what I mean)

Eat your vegetables.

Eat your breakfast.

Eat your lunch.

Eat a good dinner.

It feels good to get the dishes done before going to bed.

All things work together for good to those who love the Lord...

Wash your hands.

Hang your towel straight.

Be thrifty (even when your little girl tells you you're cheap)

Smile at people.

Talk to strangers.

Be friendly.

Volunteer.

Pay your credit card off every month or don't use one.

Sleep in.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

This too shall pass.

You're never too old to start oil painting. (She says she's going to be like Grandma Moses, and I'm looking forward to seeing her work)

Happy birthday week, Mom!
