Snowdrops

I visited Angelsey Abbey, near Cambridge, a NT property today. In the extensive grounds, walking through the Woodland and Winter paths, one can see a great display of snowdrops.

Although there were many popping up all over the place we might actually have been a little early in the season and more may appear in the following weeks.

Naively thinking a snowdrop was a snowdrop I learned, although didn't see all of them, that there are in fact 500 varieties!
