Mommy & daughter time

What a lazy day! I can't remember the last time I was still in my pajamas at noon....or....er....3:00! We didn't even bother to change the clocks back until this afternoon.

Ben's fever was better today. If it is swine flu, it's very mild. I did talk to the doctor yesterday morning (she's so wonderful! she called me with in 5 minutes of leaving a message!). She didn't recommend the Tamaflu because he was a healthy boy and it has it's own side effect issues If it develops into his lungs or gets any worse, call her. He hasn't even gotten the cough. Just the high fever. And after the ibuprophen, he's back to bouncing off the walls. But I made him relax today. No breathing on anyone or anything. Washing hands and wiping down everything with disinfectant. He'll stay home from school tomorrow for sure. So far so good - none of us has come down with it.....yet.

Victoria begged me to get a mainucure with her today. Since we had NO plans for the day, I caved in. Of course I got a pedicure. I don't bother with manicures on me. They don't last but a couple of days. But a pedicure!! Any day! This was her first manicure. I think she liked it. It was nice to do something special with just her. We don't get the chance very often.
