Really wild place I found

I went up into the hills at the side of the Conwy Valley this afternoon to a lake I spotted on Google Maps one evening - it was so off the beaten track that I had to tell the satnav where it was with Northerly and Easterly stuff.

Turned out that it was 30 minutes up a single track road that was so steep it was more like a cliff at times

Still Spotty car triumped again - in spite of 2 wheel drive etc etc - stick that up your Chealsea Tractors

Anyway - the views were magnificent and this lake was at the top - not much light as it was all in the shadows of the mountains but come summer I am dragging a picnic up there!
