Loch Droma and An Teallach..

Shopping today. Inverness. This is the view West from Dirrie More through to An Teallach. One of my favourite views in the highlands, it means we're only about 20 miles from Ullapool.. But this was taken on the way to Inverness, so we'd got a few more miles to do yet..

Stoped in Ullapool on the way to pay the final installment on the Village Hall roof. Job finished. I've had some jumpers from EWM, which have finally worn out after 5 or 6 years constant abuse on the croft. Thought it was time I replaced them. The originals cost £10 each in a sale, these were reduced from £35 to £15 each. Be the smartest dressed crofter in Scourie now!! Called into the charity shop as well, and was so pleasantly surprised by the CD's they had, I bought 10. (5 x Mike Oldfield, 2 x Altan, 2 x Clannad, and an Enya). And a Gaelic dictionary. I listen to Radio nan Gael in the shed, and it will be handy to leave this out there to look up words I'm not sure on (it should get plenty of use!!).

Into Inverness, wood from B&Q, 10 bags of sand from Wickes, 10 bags of chicken feed from Harbro, and some dog food. Tesco's, 6 bags of compost from the garden centre, with some seeds, and seed potatoes. Lidl in Dingwall, fill up with diesel in Tesco's, and back to Ullapool for a meal in the Seaforth.

Back home now, every things put away, and I'm sat with a beer after driving over 200 miles.. Good job we only do it once a month!!..
