I headed out into the new snow on my snowshoes today. Didn't get far before I was in drifts up to my knees and huffing and puffing. After doing nothing but sitting and driving for the last week, I was tired soon. I came upon this tree right on the fence line below my house. The stark reds in the lightning tree against the blue of the sky and the green of the other Ponderosa were really pretty!
