Holding On!

Today was the wildest storm yet for us, with incredible gusts, I got blown backwards carrying bags of turf and wood to the house and I'm no light weight!!
Two trees were down, a hawthorn and a holly both quite mature, the power has been off in Shull village and the shop for half the afternoon, hopefully it will get sorted with a freezer full of food! More storms tomorrow too but tonight we have a bit of a lull, it's very still out there. The garden birds were still very active despite the weather, I guess they really need the calories.
