Playing Truant
Once a month I have to visit one our rural offices in East Yorkshire. I went today, just for the morning, and decided on the way there that I would stop on the way back at one of the village churches that I pass for a quick photo.
However, on the aye back I realised I was passing through 'Hockney Country' so when a lay-by came into view, I had to stop and seize the moment. I spent a very pleasant ten minutes taking various pictures, none of which I could see too well because of the light on the camera screen, and set off again. I still I tended to stop at the church for a 'just in case' photo.
Got to the church and a funeral was in progress. I didn't think it would be appropriate to get the camera out. Maybe next month..
