This little critter tells me that I can expect more unwanted cow parsley in the garden next year

As the previous owners of our house were elderly the only gardening they'd done in the last 10 years was plant fir trees everywhere - which we have now had to take down as they had grown so large and were a little too close for comfort to the house

As a result it seems that we are fighting a neverending battle against weeds that have been allowed to thrive for far too long
