Dia del Muertos

In Guatemala the festival of All Saints Day is called Dia del Muertos and is a huge cultural celebration of all those who have passed on before us. It's almost like a Marti Gras. Mothers spend days before preparing food and the whole town or village spends the day in the cemetery remembering the ancestors who came before. It's a party atmosphere and everyone has a great time!
We attended a party today where that tradition is carried on in the US. It was great fun to watch the kids play but way too cold to spend the day outside. Of course, in Guatemala its late spring.
