Sick

So sick he was not at nursery.
His sister has a streaming cold too.

But that is no excuse for being a pair of pains!

Last night I made a return trip to the Chinese Lanterns with all sorts of plans - most of which required getting up close and personal with them.
Unfortunately nobody was allowed on the grass.
Why not? On Saturday everyone seemed to be on the grass (and there were an awful lot more people)
Ahh well.

After that it was down to St Andrews Square for the Field Of Light exhibit.
We walking into the gardens and were told it was closing. It would be nice if they advertised that. There were loads of photographers arriving and getting rather annoyed. However, it transpired they had forgotten to actually lock one of the gates so I was in there for nearly an hour (along with hoards of others.
I liked the way that even the bus was colour co-ordinated --- and the way the column and statue turned out (just a shame I didn't take the shot with a nicer colour at the base.

I forgot to mention yesterday .................. No1 son and the ray of sunshine are expectant parents.
I feel a trip down south coming on ......
