Ginger Ale

Trying to brew some ginger ale after a simple recipe by Alton Brown. The glass bottle builds up pressure which I relieve every day by loosening the cap ever so slightly every day. It still looks like a cluster bomb to me, and this is why it shall sit in the shower booth.
