Waiting for the back wheel to catch up the front

I saw this guy speeding up the street and just snapped away. the contrast on the screen was so poor, I had no idea if I even captured him as he sped towards me.
On later reviewing the shot, I got the notion that perhaps he was slightly too big for the scooter?
