tricky day

I had an 11am at the dentist (in Dunfermline) for the removal of 2 wisdom teeth.

I haven't lost a tooth since I was primary school age, so I was steeled for the kind of discomfort which goes with a root canal & crown (much more recent memory).

It wasn't so bad. He'd allocated 65 minutes and only needed 45, so that tells its own story.

I felt pretty grim all afternoon, and only now (after ibuprofen) am I recovering properly.

After exiting the chair, I didn't want to jump right into the car - wanted to check I was recovered enough. So over the road to the park, where I came on my Blip.

The bandstand is a listed building dating from 1888. It was gifted to the town by the wife of Andrew Carnegie - the US billionaire who hailed from Dunfermline.
