M.J.Byrne, Greenane

I have had so little opportunity for photography of my own lately that I'm beginning to suffer withdrawal symptoms. This shot was done in the tiny village of Greenane, out in the wilds of the country. There are not so many of these very old fashioned Irish pubs left open nowadays but this one is still in business even though it may not look like it in this shot. I don't think there were many locals awake while I was there even though it was already 11.30am. That's the sort of place it is.
